What you will learn in this course:

• Enhanced palpating skills used to identify areas of tension and treat fascia restrictions

An understanding of anatomy and physiology of fascia and it’s contribution to dysfunction (postural problems, loss of motion, and pain)

• An understanding of how the physical body works together with the emotional body

• How to incorporate these techniques into your existing practice

A little about the modality:

This class will use both indirect and direct forms of Myofascial Release. We will be learning different ways to reach almost all of the fasciae system. These techniques are gentle in nature and practiced on clothed clients. Myofascial Release works with all clients to provide subtle changes and pain relief. These techniques integrate with all wellness practices, including massage, meditation, yoga, relaxation, chiropractic, and physical therapy.
