October 14-15, 2023

Saturday 9-6, Sunday 9-6

16 CEU’s

Course Description:

Instrument Assisted Soft-Tissue Massage (IASTM) uses specialized tools to release, restore, and remodel the myofascial system. The modern version of Gua Sha, IASTM is now a highly researched, widely accepted, and impressively effective form of soft tissue therapy. IASTM relieves stress on the therapist’s hands, and like any good tool, IASTM enables the therapist to treat the fascia in a way that hands alone cannot. Recently, IASTM tools have become very affordable, making IASTM an accessible technique for all massage therapists.

In this hands-on course, you will learn the fundamental principles, strategies, and therapeutic applications of IASTM. You will also learn and practice specific manual skills and techniques that you will be able to apply to a wide variety of client conditions. If you are looking to improve your therapeutic outcomes, then IASTM is a must-learn tool to include in your therapeutic toolbox. You will receive a set of tools to take with you as part of this course!
