10.26 Therapeutic Uses of Essential Oils with Trey Anderson

What you will learn in this course:

•Ability to identify what is Aromatherapy, what are essential oils, what are the sources of essential oils, safety and dilutions, the history of Aromatherapy, and the three perspectives of health

•How to formulate and create 6 products: scented lotion, massage oil, room spray, hand soap, salt blend, and personal inhaler

•The therapeutic properties of 21 different essential oils and how to use them safely

A little about the modality:

This class teaches you how to use aromatherapy and essential oils safely and effectively with different age groups and different health concerns. Students will gain an understanding of how essential oils can be incorporated into a full body massage or used on specific areas of the body. Students will also learn how inhalation alone can be beneficial to the client. We will also explore the use of room sprays and hand soaps to keep client and practitioner healthy.

Your instructor:

Trey Anderson is a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist, Certified Aromatherapy Educator, LicensedMassage Therapist, Polarity Therapist, Energy Intuitive and Meridian Massage Practitioner. Trey taught massage at the Charleston School of Massage in Charleston SC from 2005-2007 and teaches Clinical Essential Oil classes at Botanically Rooted Aromatherapy in Greensboro, NC. He also studied teacher training with Liz Fulcher at the Aromatic Wisdom Institute. Trey has over800 hours of Aromatherapy and education from different teachers and perspectives, and brings this diverse knowledge to all his classes.
